EU pilot experience

Green journeys should pay you back.

Keep using your usual travel card. Further checks eligible bus, tram and train journeys, then adds the money you qualify for to your wallet.

No new travel habit

Travel as normal. Further works quietly behind it.

01

Check once

Confirm your identity and household so the pilot can check whether you qualify.

02

Connect your card

Add the travel pass or contactless bank card you already use. Further does not replace it.

03

Take your journey

Use the same card at the gate or reader. Eligible journeys can add money to your Further wallet.

Why the money exists

A cleaner choice can return value to your household.

Fuel prices can include charges linked to the pollution that fuel causes. Public programmes can set aside part of that money to support households.

Further explores a simple way to deliver that support: confirm an eligible public transport journey, then place the qualifying amount in the traveller's wallet.

This is a pilot demonstration. Funding rules, amounts and availability depend on approved local programmes.

Trust is part of the product

Prove what matters. Keep the rest private.

Further is designed to confirm that you qualify and that a valid journey happened. Your card stays yours, your identity is checked once, and payouts only go to an account in your verified name.

  • One verified identity per person
  • One connected card per transport network
  • Clear details about what each journey shares
